NaPoWriMo ‘25 Day 23

I’m so late but I’m catching up! It has been a rough few days and it seemed, along with everything, impossible to get any words out. But I wrote something!

For day 23, our prompt asked us to write a poem inspired by and focused on birdsong. I have this strange belief that I suck at writing nature poetry but I am quite pleased with this one! I hope to write a better nature poem someday tho lol

P.S.: The photo above is the view from my living room window and it’s an insane gift to open the curtains to THIS every morning. This poem is an ode to nature churned out of nothing but gratitude.
